Nelson Insulation was founded in 1958 by Alvin B. Nelson to fill a need in the construction industry for a multi-faceted insulation company.  We have had deep roots in Illinois’ Local #17 Heat and Frost Insulators since we opened our doors. Now, over fifty years later, we are the leading family-owned mechanical insulator in the Midwest with a commitment to deliver matchless customer service and innovation to both clients and the industry as a whole.
